Composition  : Glucobay M 50 Tablet 10 contains two active ingredients:

Acarbose (50 mg): This component works as an alpha-glucosidase inhibitor in your intestines. It slows down the digestion of complex carbohydrates (starches and sugars) by blocking specific enzymes, which delays glucose absorption and reduces post-meal blood sugar spikes.

Metformin (500 mg): As a biguanide, metformin decreases glucose production in your liver by inhibiting processes called gluconeogenesis and glycogenolysis. It also improves insulin sensitivity in your body tissues, helping them absorb and use glucose more effectively.
